With the characteristics of large gas volume, simple and compact structure, light weight, small unit size and small floor space occupied, centrifugal compressor has become a key machine for compressing and transporting various gases in chemical production, and plays a more and more important role due to the development of the chemical industry all over the world, various large-scale chemical plants and refineries need to be established. With the achievements of gas dynamics research, the efficiency of centrifugal compressors has been continuously improved.

Centrifugal turbo air and gas compressor is a kind of rotary motion machine, which is suitable for direct dragging of industrial steam turbines or gas turbines. For general large-scale chemical plants, it is often used as a by-product steam-driven industrial steam turbine to provide power for comprehensive utilization of thermal energy.

1. Centrifugal compressor unit

• Horizontally split gearbox including bearings, single helical bullgear and high-speed pinions

• High strength compressor casing

• High performance titanium alloy or 17-4PH hardened martensitic stainless steel impellers with 3-D flow backward leaning vanes

• Labyrinth gas and oil seal

• Unitized, fabricated baseframe supporting compressor, driver, cooler, control cabinet, and lubrication oil tank

• Copper alloy cooler, water side for tubes, gas side for shell, with manually valve to drain

• Inlet guide vanes with actuator

• Bypass Valve with actuator, for emergency blow-off upon customer signal input for antisurge protection

• Dry flexible disc pack drive coupling with totally enclosed steel guard

2. Lubrication system 

• Lube oil reservoir integral to baseframe with large inspection manhole available

• Lube oil level sight glass.

• Oil mist filter

• 380V electric lube oil heater

• Directly driven full flow main oil pump.

• 380 volt electric motor driven pre and post lubrication oil pump.

• Shell and tube lube oil cooler

• Double oil filter

• Lube oil system pressure relief valves.

• Interconnection steel tubing and valves.

• Sensors for temperature and transducers for pressure

3. PLC control cabinet

• Electric control package consisting of starter, contactor, voltage transformer and temperature sensor with disconnect switch, factory installed and wired

• Colorful English LCD touch screen and control panel

• All the piping from the inspection point to the PLC have been finished and wired in the factory

4. Compressor Body

• Type: Compact gearbox and thrust ring design that reduces mechanical loss

• Casing: Cast Scroll (Nodular Iron/The surface is all treated with anti-corrosion treatment, and the coating is acid and alkali resistant and not easy to fall off)

5. Impeller

• CNC five axis equipment processing, overall milling, customized processing

• High strength titanium alloy or 17-4PH high strength stainless steel impeller with 115% overspeed testing

• High performance impellers with backward leaning vanes with wider adjustment range and higher working efficiency

• Service life 30 years

• Dynamic Balance Method ensures the low vibration while machine running
